The company history dates back to 1946. At the time, Coverpla was a manufacturer of bottles for wines and spirits.
The business relocated from the port of Nice to the hillside of the Observatory, and it shifted its focus to perfume bottles and caps.
Later, in the ’80s and ’90s, Coverpla began industrial production and began to open to foreign markets. Entering the Italian market, Coverpla asserted its distinctiveness with the design and manufacture of its own models, decoration, and pump assembly.
Beginning in the 2000s, Philippe Campagne took over the company from his father and continued to develop it.
In 2010, Bruno Diépois bought the business. Ten years later, its turnover had more than doubled.
In 2016, Coverpla, Inc., a sister company based in New York City, was founded to best reach American markets.
With its international growth, development of a standard offer, modernised industrial facilities, ethical considerations, and certifications – among much more –, Coverpla is a responsible company for people and the environment. CSR is now becoming the main driver for its competitiveness.
