Metallisingbottles
There are two metallisation techniques:
- Métalight is an application that consists of first spraying a base coat, then applying a silver foil, and finishing with a top coat of coloured glaze. The decoration may be applied totally or partially, with various gradation level options. This metallisation effect is translucent.
- Traditional metallisation consists of applying a base coat to the bottle. The bottle is then placed in a vacuum in order to cover it with a metallic foil, to which a top coat of coloured glaze is applied.

Is it possible to decorate a metallic surface ?
We don’t see why not! The decoration can be achieved with a number of techniques: screen printing, pad printing, hot stamping, or even decoating.
Is partial metallisation available ?
Yes, easily!
Is metallisation suitable for any fragrance ?
No, since certain ingredients can alter the metallised decoration. A compatibility test is first performed to guarantee its full compatibility.

No, but a broad range of colours is available.
Can the metallisation be translucent?
Yes, of course!
What resistance tests are conducted on metallised surfaces ?
The surface is scratched in a criss-cross pattern and the adhesion resistance is tested.
